Breakfast

“I am not a breakfast person”; she said. Eating breakfast get me feeling heavy, nauseous and drowsy, I need to be light headed and remain agile for my daily activities. Little does she know ulcer sends no notification or warning as to when it will strike. She woke up one morning hoping to remain agile and active for her daily activities, her head spins, stomach hurts and back aches. “After a good night rest, feeling so exhausted with aches all over should not happen this early. Could it be stress from the luggage I carried? she thought.” Paying little attention to the pain, she continues her daily activities. It became darker as night falls, the pain got excruciating, she rolled in her bed, crying in pain, she felt the pain in her bones like her back was going to break. She managed to get up from her bed, applied some pain relief balm but the relief lasted for few seconds as the pain returns harder. She called her friend for help, the pharmacies were closed and all she could get was diclofenac which helped her sleep through the night. The morning pain was terrible, she left for the clinic were she was diagnosed with ulcer, was prescribed some medication and strictly advised not to joke with *breakfast*. Light meals like cereals, slice of bread, pancakes, waffles, beverages, fruits and vegetables can see you through till brunch or lunch is ready.
